It's now on sale for about 30 quid, but if you have the original you only have to pay about 20 quid and you can transfer your savegame from the old version too. So, now, a year down the road (going by the title), it is being re-released with improved gfx an improved HUD and melee combat and a new mission type. There is a game called State of Decay, it's been available on Steam and XBLA for quite awhile, it has a number of DLC's as well.
Not going to link to the game on Steam, I don't know If it's allowed but it is a great game (the original) and would be a nice companion to Dead state on GOG. State of Decay Year One: Survival Edition.
